Issues to Consider in Private Boats

1. Motor Vehicle Tax paid for Turkish flagged private yachts As of July 2009 it has been abolished and replaced by “Mooring Billet Fee” which is collected according to the length of the boat.
2. For private yachts, it is mandatory to obtain a Mooring Log License.
3. Vehicles subject to duty must pay their fees on time and have their licenses visa.
4. Port registration is obligatory for yachts that sail only with a municipal license; These boats must register at the port, complete their navigational equipment and obtain a Mooring Log License.
